With the onset of the Coronavirus the significance we place on hand hygiene and our cross-infection policies and procedures are more significant than ever.
Wash your hands more often than usual, for 20 seconds each time with soap and water or hand sanitiser, especially on the following occasions when you:
• Get home or into work
• Blow your nose, sneeze or cough
• Eat or handle food.

If you are sick with COVID – 19 or suspect you are infected with the virus that causes COVID -19, follow the steps below to help prevent the disease from spreading to people in your home and community.
Stay Home:
People who are mildly ill with COVID-19 are able to isolate at home during their illness, you should activities outside your home, except for medical care.
Avoid Public areas:
Do not go to work, school, or public areas.
Avoid public transportation:
Avoid using public transportation, ride sharing, or taxis.
Stay away from others:
As much as possible, you should stay in a specific room and away from other people in your home. If available, you should use a separate bathroom.

Seek prompt medical attention if your illness is worsening (e.g, difficulty breathing)
If you have an emergency call 911 and notify the dispatch personnel that you have, or are being evaluated for COVID-19. If possible, put on a face mask before emergency medical services arrive.
